It was a new styling que - putting the seams in a non-traditional place. And no - the SE got the same placement as the regular Challenger

What's not to love about a black '67 Chevelle?? Attached is my DD from about 1972-73. It was traded in to Schukei Chevrolet for a silver '69 Z28, I grabbed it for $800 before it hit used car detail, drove it 40K miles and sold it for $1,200.

It's not that hard to stretch the ends to align with the hood molding!!!

Plus, my pet peeve improper (for an SS) grille extension black out...Spoils what otherwise looks like a nice car.
