In the evolution of the Chevy muscle car, this car IMO is where it all began: 1961 Impala SS with 4 speed, positraction rear and 409/360 HP engine. The SS option, the 409 and the body style (we call them Bubble Tops - Chevy called it a Sedan) were new for 1961.

Checked the garage to be sure mine was still here. They need to loose the W/O moldings though.
