Sure beats the 90% profit I made when I sold it to Steve Juliano in 1988 for $38K. I thought I had made the deal of the century since I had just bought it a month before for $20k.
It is an absolutely amazing car. It had 19,000 mile on it when I found it. The engine has never been apart and it was hands down the fastest six-pack car i ever drove. Steve never touched the engine either and just had his people detail the engine on the outside.
If anyone here knows who bought it, tell them to drop me an email. I still have the full photo album on the car from when I found it, with all the original detail photos (which I scanned for Steve J years later when he was restoring it.) |
