Good eye! Yes this modest drag strip is still active and shares the tarmac with the New London Airport, a few miles southwest of Lynchburg. Notice the temporary hut and starting lights. This was Wayne's favorite track which was 45 miles east of his home in Roanoke. Are you familiar with this track?</span>

Special delivery from AZ to OH. Nice to have her back by my side. I am refurbishing my detached garage that will be her new home - will post a thread on progress in our Garage Forum. BTW, I used Sheila and Brian Poff (husband/wife team,574.849.8539) again to move my '69 out here and couldn't be happier.

Glad I could instill some spring fever in you guys like Frank did for me. Keep in mind my Chevelle is still breathing thru its original mufflers (altho it does belch some metal frags from time to time [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif[/img] ). She'll get headers and a new exhaust soon so I can step up the dBs and tone a bit! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Just WOW! The pictures are incredible, really like the one with the tree branches on the hood, so assume. I'm not a jealous person of other cars, but yours hurts a lot. LOL.
