For those of you planning to race Friday @ SCR7, we'd appreciate it if you'd throw in a helmet. Also, pants and a shirt with sleeves...not long sleeves, short sleeves are fine, just sleeves of some kind (I got bounced for a sleeveless shirt at MMP!). A driveshaft loop and catch can (a hose from radiator to washer bottle is how most of us Pure Stock guys do it) would be gravy...

I hope I didn't discourage anyone with my post about safety items...we're mainly looking for helmets, but *normally* NHRA would like to see double throttle springs, a catch can, and a driveshaft loop on anything 13.99 or quicker. We understand this is probably the only time most of these cars see the track all year, and I dropped this on you guys at the last minute, so we're lenient...but for you guys looking to step it up a notch in the future, those would be some good places to start. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

And, if you've got ANY questions at the track on Friday, there will be PLENTY of people that could help ya out. I've already talked to Casey and Pete about helping me on some track stuff, and I know "Big Dog" will be there as well, and there's always Barnhart and a whole host of other guys as well. Believe me, there's nothing to it, and the track is THE BEST place for any kind of "heavy footed" action you wanna partake in...

Just noticed that John O. is bringing his '69 Nova. Cool... that makes 3, 1/3 of the 9 known to exist. I know both Miller and Hand each had 2 at the same time, but wonder if there have ever been three in the same room. Wow...mix in a dozen or so '70 Novas, plus a few Gibb and Harrell Novas, a mini Nova Nats in the making.

Had 2 was a mistake, should have kept 2, oh well, must move on. Still in my opinion Yenko Nova's are the baddest cars on the planet, as Don himself described "lethal", and they were.

Most people have never seen one. I took my former car to a local show with some 300 cars and won, people did't know it existed. The attention those cars get is unbelievable. Soon to be Franlin Mint Diecast of Both the 427 Nova and the Deuce when i had them.The sad part is , well they found 2 good homes, and am happy to see others enjoy them!
