Just went to try posting multiple pics but the download to site box is gone?
If images can only be posted by host provider url addresses, these die out after time unlike site loaded pics which live on.
Am I missing something?

If you click manage attachments you don't get the box with ten buttons to upload pics? Is it possibly opening in another window?

Make sure you're in advanced, not quick reply. You can scroll down and see a manage attachments button that allows you to upload pics from your computer, phone, etc.

Do you know which OS your Ipad is?

Tell you what, email me the pics, at least a few of them. Let me see what it does. It should set an error or something, unable to resize, photo too large, etc.

I noticed that 10X pic upload via my iPhone yields just one upload.
Same 10X upload via my Win 7 laptop, ten pics upload as expected.

On another note, now all uploads are only visible in the post if I am signed in . . .

Sounds like it's an Apple issue. Yes, attachments only show to registered members who are logged in. Otherwise I think it's a link.

Any way to post pics visible to all or is that function lost?
Links cannot be accessed by visitors.

Pics that are on the net show to everyone. I set up the attachments to show as pics only to registered members, to help grow the membership of the site. Unregistered can still see the pic, but they have to click the link. Registration is free and only takes a couple of minutes.

If Charley wants that changed we can.

Well, apparently I was wrong about this, only logged in members can see attached pic; pics loaded on the net still show for everyone.

I'll dig into the Ipad OS if necessary but it should be something standard that works Ok for others including strangers who surf in.
I still can't access old threads through Google searches, is this working yet w/ anyone else's systems?

Again, pics loaded off the net using other providers die after time.
Best is site hosted pics as they seem solid also make the transfer w/ system changes.

You should be able to right-click on the pic you want to post and hit "copy image address". Then click that square picture box above next to the Youtube box, and paste the image address in there.

This may have already been addressed. If so, my apologies.

When doing a Google search and a one of the hits is on this site, you used to be able to click on that google link and it would take you to the exact post and even the page (if multiple). I thought that was handier than using the search function on this site. Now, when you see a related topic you are searching, using Google, on this site and click on ot, it just takes you to the forum "Home" page and not to the item being searched.

Yes, that's tied into the old links being updated which turned out to be a much larger job than we thought. Good thing is nothing was lost which was my biggest concern. I should have an update by tomorrow on where we're at and what's left on the list to do.

Old links should be working now. Also the banners for the supporting vendors are working on this default theme.

As to what Verne's saying in the other thread, I think mine's doing the same?
All Quotes/Underlines etc show the code before/after the words but resulting action doesn't show.
This seems to be especially so when reading threads/postings from before the upgrade?

Still no luck posting multiple pics at once.
Tried again last night in the Old Gas Stn. thread but no go and ended up posting pics individually.

A few glitches but great to see the links and Google searches come alive again!
Some seem to lead to single postings instead of whole thread pages like it used to although a box there to click on and access the thread.

Lots more we could complain about but hopefully all's Ok @ the end of the day.

So sig pics and avatar pics should be resized properly now. Also the attachment option for pm's is done, you can upload pics from your computer in private messages.

Finishing up 10 attachments for you Apple guys who can only upload one pic at a time. "Liker" button for the threads/posts is also coming up.
