I didnt realize that they knew the production was 69 back then. I thought the story goes that they thought there was always 50 Gibb cars and then they found the other list of 19 when searching the number 2 ZL-1. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif[/img]

I see now that it has rally wheels and the price, so this was apparently one of the other 19. They must have known.

I like those ads. I spoke to Eric...previous owner (member here) and Matt (member here) ...the Xenia Gazette ad from September 4th 1971 for Rally Sport Copo Camaro with deluxe interior is probably my car...sold new at Frost Chevrolet Mechanicsburg Ohio...40-50 miles away !! Very cool ...thanks guys !

I sent the add to an acquaintance in Alabama who by memory has the same car.

By memory, all taken apart, blue with black interior, 3 or 4 speed his fathers car, pictures from back in the day.......

It would be very interesting if you could turn up an ad from Page Bros Motor Co. in Russelville, KY from the May/June '63 time frame. You might find an ad something like this.

Here's two more '69 Yenko Nova ads as posted in the Nova thread plus two Sept/68 Yenko ads w/ what appears to be 15 x '68 Copo 9737 cars!
Note color breakdown and HD options also 1-1/16" Frt. Sway bar plus 140 Speedo...one car w/ L78 gone and L35 transplant?
Next ad is a week later and down to 5 x "HiPo" '68's left...after Yenko Sales and Dealer Trades to Kenny Ross etc?

What color was the '68 you mentioned years ago about parting out in the 80's Steve?
Did it have the MM Trim Tag and do any of the '68 9737 cars in the above ads seem a possible match?

It was a KK Tripoli Turquoise coupe, w/ a repaint in Butternut Yellow, bought & ended in flat black primer...396/4 speed. It had a MM tag on it. I want to say it was bought in the Youngstown Oh area? A good friend of mine had it and sold it and got it back in pieces. I got it from him and gave the shell to local Camaro collector-friend. Very little left on it. It was a early car with Astro Vent etchings on the door glass, non tinted glass,and style trim. Beast of a car....I know the guy I got it from still has the tags. Sadly, I'm not sure what frame of mind he's in today....I'm sure I know right where they are.

BTW, it was not a 9737 car..std 120 speedo, and sway bar. We were well aware it was different and never could understand why it had that tag.

Interesting on the Myerstown Auto Deuce - I thought I knew exactly which car that was, until I saw the A/T part..... The Fathom Blue 'Snoopy' Deuce was def a 4speed, so it wasn't the Deuce I was thinking of. Might have to go on a hunt!!
