I always liked Cragars...

Here's a couple of my old Hot Rods back in the day. I would swap wheels and tires around depending on which car I was currently driving and which tires had the best tread left. Charlie

What's the law in Australia on getting cars converted to right hand drive?Must cost a bunch!?

Damien 12-24-2014 08:11 PM

Re: Cars with Cragars

You don't have to convert anymore, which is great. It has opened up the hobby to many more people by lessening the expense.

Re: Cars with Cragars

Hello to all. I am new today to your site and am hooked already. I own a 1969 Camaro ss396 X66 car. Fun street car and I am getting bit by the day 2 bug. I am looking to add cragar rims. I found a used set of 4 for sale local size 15 x 8.5" with 3 3/4" back spacing. I was hoping someone can help me out if these would fit under my 1969 Camaro that is stock rear and front end?

Cragar SS only came in 8" wide and BS was either 2.5 (deep dish) or 4.25 (standard offset). Someone is measuring wrong or they are 15x10 which did come with a 3.75 BS

Anything will work with shackles and airshocks

My latest find. Ex-Bill Izykowski "Super Paranoia" SS/H and Ex-Barry Curran and Bob Moon "Shangri-La" B/S and SS/D. 977 original miles. Cragars are from GTO Don (rears) and 69L78 (fronts). Planning to show car at SLS @ Carlisle and York show in July. Currently seeking original style race parts and day 2 items.

Re: Cars with Cragars

Hey any 1969 Camaro owners out there?? I am looking for some help/advice. I have been looking into swapping out my ralley sport rims for cragars. Right now all 4 rims are 15x7's. I would love to change out to 4 cragars with 15x8's in the rear and 15x6's up front. I have stock suspension front and rear. Does anyone at present have 15x8's in rear ?? any issues with clearance? tire rubs? Thanks in advance

Rumble, here is a section for wheels and tires on Team Camaro. Should be the info you seek in there somewhere.
