I just watched two rounds of qualifying on Fox1...ESPN did better by far. They seem to put Prostock up first instead of after Top fuel & Funny car but they only showed the two time champ once or twice running??? The Summit boys did well with Greg grabbing the #1 spot...they seem to have it figure out so far. KB racing is doing well as well as Chevrolet again! Mopar has allot to make up.

I'll reserve judgement on Tony for a couple of events. He certainly wasn't on his game today, but it could have been 'first day jitters'. We'll see.
However, ....... FS1 has a lot to learn about covering Drag Racing! The two qualifying programs and the pre-recorded portion of the eliminations made me tired. Bad camera angles (especially on the ET/Speed boards) and EVERYTHING seemed to be rushed! They have unlimited opportunities for improvement! Just an opinion. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] |

Could have been -- they took pictures of the starting line and the right side was doing the chattering ... hard left hand turn ... got a Darlington (ooops - wrong race track) strip on the left side. Took a pretty good pop ... TAZ

Erica will do a few select races in her old Super Gas class where she won her first Wally...

They seem to have an edge on the rest of the field for now but as always...never count out Erica. The team is getting better every time they run so all the negative feedback they get is hard to take sometimes but it takes time to work out all the bugs with all the new rule changes that all the teams have been dealt. KB Racing has an exclusive contract with HOGAN Intake Manifolds.......Is that the biggest advantage

Sam, HOGAN just made Jeff Lane a "neat" new TOP piece for the SB2 engine in Cody Lane's SS/BS.
They are at Bremerton,WA NHRA "Natl Open" race today and hope to set a new record in SS/BS. This is engine Jeff bought from Vinnie Barrone............however Jeff took it apart and went completely through it to put his own touch on it !!!! Now back to your regular programming |
