Went to get the car with the intention of bringing it home. Its very cool!....but....There were a few things that I did not like, and will need to be addressed/re-done before I can assemble the car.....so... Its now off the body dolly and on the rotisierrie. Soon to be on its way back to the paint shop. Painter is honoring his work so I'll let him do his thing...good thing I'm a patient guy [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] . I'll take some good pics soon...been busy with other stuff since I got back with it.

I sold that car to Albert a few years ago. I'm glad to see the car is being restored the right way....man do I like that fresh Frost Green paint!!! Can't wait to see it finished.

I actually don't have a Chevelle right now, I had to sell both of mine to come up with cash for a place in the country..we had wanted to get a place in the country for a few years. One came up for sale that we really wanted and needed a down payment because our old house was not even on the market yet. It all worked out, we live in the country, the old home sold. I will be looking for a 68 or a 69 post in a couple years when I have more cash available. I can't wait! Troy

Hi Albert...I was Google searching for pics of the 300 Deluxe, saw some of my old pics...it was on this site...then I saw the fresh paint...can't beat that color! I'll keep checking this site for more pics. Any time frame for completion of car? Maybe this summer/Fall?

Well, heres a update before the end of the year. The body is home. Paint was completed during the summer and I picked it up sometime in sept. It was very nice indeed..and I had visions of putting it back on the frame..installing all the goodies I have amassed onto the freshly painted body. But thats not the case. On the way back home with the body in the trailer, the wheel hubs on the rotisserie collapsed. This allowed the straps to come loose!. Was not a pretty sight when I opened the doors at home. So, repairs are under way. Both quarters and doors kissed the trailer sides... for awhile [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif[/img] ..rockers too. Have a local shop helping me out with the paint repairs. Working the bottom of the car now. More after the holidays.
