Re: 37 Ford LS2 Continuation thread

Spent the day today getting the front sheetmetal aligned....and Dave was over getting the wiring ready for the Dash installation and he also got the Driver Information Control button (DIC) that came out of a GTO to work and the Dash Module now functions just like the factory designed......Pretty cool....I also decided to keep the Fog Lights as turn signals, I'm just going to make new mounts for them so the bottom of the light will be the same height as the top of the bumper......called the place I got the bumpers from and they are sending out a rear bumper next day air .......Man....that went too easy............

Dash and Trim should be ready tomorrow.........

I searched and searched and couldn't even come close to finding one fitting this excellent piece of work.

Here is one from the guy next door that NEVER has the right tool.

Re: 37 Ford LS2 Continuation thread

I'm really digging the way the wheels fill the wheel wells and the way it sits. And I think that's pretty much the not-so-minor key to building a bad-to-the-bone hot rod. 'Course, a bunch of new GTO stuff doesn't hurt this one either. I'm in Lust <g>.

Got the dash and window molding back from the painter....I didn't want to go with a shiny dash, so we went with a satin finish......now that it's done, I don't know if I like it....oh well.....there will be a decorative emblem in the blank area below the center A/C vent to fill in that area.....here is the GTO gauge module and dash install...

How have you managed to put 23,836 miles on that car already?

Can you fit two sets of golf clubs in the trunk?
