[ QUOTE ]
i noticed on the crg site that they have noted production exceptions in radiator application and installation on the assembly line... i wonder if that was a possibility on the nova line as well? [/ QUOTE ] I have never heard of a Nova 4 core curved neck...I guess anything is possible. What is the month letter between the C and H and how does that relate to the production date of the car. Is the top rail of the radiator original or was this unit re-cored at some time..??? I still don't think Novas got those curved neck units...but ya never know https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif wilma |
Re: 1968 nova L78
the radiator which is pictured came out of my 69 nova L-78 auto car, it is an original drive train car that is dated 07D. i believe the motor has one 840 and one 691 head, both F-9 dated, interestingly enough the motor came with a B dated 499 distributor. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: 1968 nova L78
i forgot to mention that from the pic's it appears that the radiator is C dated, does the top piece on the radiator or mounting brackets on the side of the radiator appear to be nova or camaro?

Re: 1968 nova L78
you're right about the head number...
the letter code on the radiator appears to be a c from the pic, it is a little bit blurry. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif |
Re: 1968 nova L78
C would equal March date...
