Re: Impala-Thon in Philly
Maybe I should find the Vin for my 69 Z28 that was stolen in Dec. 74, and see if someone has restored it for me. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: Impala-Thon in Philly
if the titles were burned up,you just file for a lost title with the DMV,that's no big deal at all.
this reminds me: 20 years ago a freind of mine in Georgia bought a 68 coronet r/t for $3000 with no title, and the scam was on. 3 weeks later the "original"owner came with the cops to his place and showed them a title with his name on it. after all the money he put in the car,he ended up getting $700 from the original owner for all the work he put in it,and had to surrender the car. this scam goes on all the time in "no title" states, and usually is successful. |

Re: Impala-Thon in Philly
yea JA Robinson ripped of my good bud back in 78. He had a 70 RA IV judge and he had the motor rebuilt by JAR. He exchanged the RA IV heads with 350 heads and took the manifolds too. He took him to court..

I looked under every single car outside on Friday. One of the cars that I bought did not have a posi in it (# 1011), even though it was advertised as such and i knew it didn't. The other 3 went for too much money. The 62 with the grab bar and 4 speed, the 64 Impala convertible 4 speed, and the 64 Impala plain jane lot # 1017. I had hoped that there would be more but oh well. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |
