I bought those valve covers about
a year or so ago on e-bay.
Wasn't sure if they were real thenhttps://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gifbut took the chance.
Then, shortly after that, there was tons of them out ...
oh well ... I think they're cool looking. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Yup thats the car Kim.,the rear quarter panel says Neighborhood Garage on it,and the guy who built and tuned it is a good friend of mine, and if you have the article with the car and shop featured in it you can see my friend Joe in the pictures. That car is still floating around in central Jersey somewhere, and hasnt ben touched in about 30 years.so I wonder how the history of this car would be documented of somebody wanted to restore it as a Motion car.I would tend to think it might be worth more as a vintage prostocker though.

Just think about it for a second? It would still be a Motion car and a vintage prostocker with great race history to boot. I can't see where you could go wrong. I can see no need to restore it back to original Motion delivery.

I know I would love to own it as is!!!!

They're the "right" valve covers, just the wrong emblem. You can pull them out with a knife and insert the right emblems.

I can tell you that real ones are something you won't like having to pay for. They are hard to find and expensive when you do.
