How do you like the G Exhaust? Resonators? Jim </div></div> Love the Gardner system. Just the transverse "deep tone" muffler and it sounds like the Bullitt Charger. Best part is the accurately located oval tailpipes. "Sanitary." |

Beautiful car and you just helped me make up my mind on what to do with my 67 when I restore it, it came original with the wire wheels and butternut yellow, pretty much the same as yours other than its a convertible and came with a 4 speed train. Definitely going to restore back to original. any inside pics?

The N96 "mag" wheelcovers and redlines remind me of my Hot Wheels cars of old and are a refreshing change from all the Rally-wheeled cars. I even restored a set of accessory wire wheelcovers for an even more unusual (yet still correct) look. |
Re: 427 TJ's Butternut Beauty....
More fun with the old dog. In 1980 I bought a NOS-in-boxes set of 1967 PO1 base wheelcovers for my high school '67. Ran them with the stock wheels and a set of Dunlop GT Qualifiers. I was down in California two weeks ago for the Porsche Rennsport Reunion at Monterey and stopped by a buddy's house in Sacramento on the way home. He said he had something to show me out in the garage and he produced my old PO1 wheelcovers! When I went into the USAF in the '80s I had him store some stuff for me until I could come get it and the PO1s got forgotten over the decades. So I brought them home and washed them off--still cherry--and snapped them on last weekend. Boy do they look right! All the ads in '67 (but for the disc cars) had the PO1s shown, so I am loving the look of my Camaro now.

Absolutely love your 67.. Great that you were able to run back across your PO1 covers. For me its hard to beat the N96's though..
