Do you remember the CSX on that car? Buffalo had a ton of cobras. I might post those some day.

No, I don’t but when Nick (paul Nichter) would drive it from his work shop off Niagara street in Buffalo out to South Wales where he lived , occasionally he would stop on Seneca Street in Elma at a local farm and a friend of mine that worked there at the time remembers putting bushels of sweetcorn in the trunk.

his grandson i believe is still in the business, he heads the Ferrari/Alfa/Maserati dealership in williamsville, keeping the family name alive i suppose

The previously mentioned '69 RAIII GTO Vert was sold new at Culligan Pontiac and I happened to have lived in Williamsville.
Another WNY car that my friend owned is a '70 Buick Stage 1 'vert auto (1 of 164) that was found in a farmer's field in Lewiston. He restored it in the late 70's as a yellow GSX clone. Later restored to original factory colors, Aqua Mist poly Black/Black and it was a gorgeous car. Last I knew, the car was in a collection in PA.

Was this the car parked on the side of Huberts (?) Machine shop under a tarp? I remember the 71 Judge, where did that car go?

Picked up this car in Syracuse, New York 1978 not quite western New York but close and it’s one of the very few raiv Judges you’ll ever see with the original drive train in it. Cardinal red with a red interior ,nicely loaded with power steering ,power brakes ,hood tach, Formula steering wheel , power trunk with 390 gears

First picture is 1979 back on the Homestead summertime and the second picture is several years ago, putting all the ram air cars in storage .

All 3 of the 68 firebirds that you can see in that picture are RA2 four-speed cars. There’s a black one and a green with gold vinyl top in the middle and then to the right is a Ageena blue with black interior and a black vinyl top car ! nothing but round ports .
These three Firebirds are not from Western New York, but very cool nonetheless.
The black one is from Long Island, the green/gold vinyl top car is from Brooklyn, New York Myrtle motors and is the lowest VIN FIRST RA II Firebird and the third one ageena blue is from Boston

You have quite the collection! do you still live around here and keep these cars around the buffalo area? RA Pontiacs are all very special cars indeed, incredibly rare, very very cool stuff, Thank you for sharing!

I live in WNY and my business is right down the street from Steve Battaglia's shop. Last I knew his niece got all his cars when he passed? Not a "supercar" but I did rescue a 68 Chevelle SS 396/375 4sp out of the Eastside 8 yrs ago from the original owner that was sold new at Bokman, it needed a full resto so I sold it. If I knew how to post pics of that I would. 2 cars in my collection worthy of this page but aren't supercars are a 68 L34 4sp and 70 L78 auto Nova's.
