Re: day two shifters
Tell me more about early Winters shifter. I would not have guessed them to be that old. They are off my radar, but I do recall a friend having one in a Chevelle we installed a rollbar on around 1992.
Nice Demon. My wife had a Duster in high school. |
Re: day two shifters
Winters was originally established in 1958 in York Pennsylvania i was told this design was based originally in the early 70s and changed in 1980s to something similar to what they offer today the dead giveaway is the rectangular price on either side of the top plate any way this one came out of my buddies 1966 hemi belvedere II look up a hemi worth waiting for in hemmings muscle he is the original owner and bought it back for the guy in the article who restored it but he put back his b&m 60s so i got the winters

Re: day two shifters
I think the most exciting shifter was a good ol Muncie.lol.If you could power one of those and not miss you were a better driver than most.

Or lucky!
I had one lock up at the interchange on my way to Maple Grove and stuck in between gears. As soon as I got her home, the Hurst went back in! Dave 67 Nova Boy |
