Re: Snow

Blizzard warning just issued here. We got two feet over the weekend, another foot+ so far today and still snowing hard. Forecast is for snow into this evening then 30 mph winds. I don't think we're going anywhere for a while. I'm "working from home" today https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: Snow

Guys be carefull with all that snow on your roof.Especially if you get rain later, makes the load even heavier. We got a lot of snow here two years ago and a couple of home's roofs caved in.Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a roof rake, long ajustable pole with a plastic scoop on the end,and standing on the ground you can pull snow off of the roof. It's not only flat roofs that you have to worry about.Peaked also.Bill.

Re: Snow

Also need to be aware of ice dams that form under the snow in roof valleys and at the gutters. Those can trap water from the melting snow and cause leaks that may go un-noticed for a while.
