From now through Friday, February 19, KraftHeinz is accepting applications for would-be Peanutters (and it's also looking for new Wienermobile drivers, if you'd rather be in charge of a four-wheeled hot dog).

According to the job description, Peanutters will be responsible for driving the NUTmobile from city to city, creating peanut-related content for Twitter and Instagram, and acting as a "specialist and Spokesperson for Mr. Peanut, walking in the shoes of an American icon." The minimum qualifications for the job include a bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and the "desire and ability to spend the year on the road [...] staying in hotels or short-term corporate housing throughout the United States."

Why in hell would a person need a bachelors degree to drive a vehicle like that ??? I guess my 40 years, 2.5 million miles as an owner/operator with a valid class A CDL and doubles/triples/tanker endorsements wouldn't "qualify" me for that job...what a joke...:rolleyes2:

That looks like a carpal tunnel syndrome claim waiting to happen.

Bill, sharp eye!

1964, 65, 66 Pontiac Tempest Series used the same tilt lever as shown below in a loaded ‘66 GTO.

As Saginaw developed the tilt column in 1961, I believe for Cadillac but available on the 1963 Pontiac. it makes sense that the tilt lever is the same. I suspect Ford acquired a Saginaw for their customization. Ford utilized a tilt a way column for tbirds,Mustangs and Lincoln.
Chrysler used many Saginaw components over the years.

----Chris,,,Although I don't have a Pontiac at the moment I have one of the tilt levers because, to me, they are just beautifully proportioned. I also have the matching shifter and turn signal lever as well. I know,,, who does that? They are just so handsome!.....Bill S
