I was heading up I-55 to Chicago for the MCACN show on 11/18/21, probably somewhere near Joliet and going the South on I-55 was a T/T with a flatbed hauling an SBD fuselage. Even though it was wrapped for protection, there was no mistaking the outline of an SBD fuselage. Happened too quick to get a photo, but that was a really cool sighting and certainly not something you see everyday.

That's a heavily traveled Military spot,as the Army has a training area right there on Aresnal Rd,just south of I-80 on I-55.

Only one of these left flying in the world though there should be another one likely flying within several years. The one is currently available for a cool $12m.

The XP-82. The first one I saw was one the parade field at Lackland airforce base. The other one I saw was at the Airforce museum in Dayton, Ohio. Actually I think they had 2 there. Very cool airplane!

Wicked airplane!

I remember this car from my old neighborhood. The original owners drove it like a regular car. Would often see it in the grocery store parking lot with a baby seat in the back. Thanks for the memory.
