Forget expensive weed killers and use white vinegar to kill weeds creeping through cracks in paths and patios. Fill a spray bottle and liberally apply to the offending plant, repeating the next day. The weeds should turn brown and die within a few days. Do be careful though, the vinegar may harm your other plants so apply with caution.

The 1 of 1 1968 Z/28 Convertible built for Chevrolet Executive Pete Estes was the first muscle car to break the $100,000 mark at auction in 1991.

Thought I heard something a few years ago about this car being stolen.

Was that true? If so, has it been recovered?

----I think you heard about all the original paperwork being stolen. Happened at the Auburn Auction when Al Maynard owned the car. His wife had the original paperwork in her purse and someone stole the purse out of their truck. Al had copies of everything but he was devastated and mad a hornet. Stuff was never found. The thief wasn't after the paperwork, just the likelihood of money being in the purse......Bill S

Omaha Orange

Some local administrations give a particular name to the hue. Omaha in Nebraska, for example, lends its name to a paint used on cars and trucks, such as International Harvester, Schneider National and Allied Van Lines. The colour coordinates are the same as Safety Orange; only the name is different.

It was an Omaha, Nebraska delivery and storage company that coined the name 'Omaha Orange'

Throw Out Old Canisters of PAM Immediately!

Over half a dozen people are suing Conagra after sustaining injuries allegedly resulting from exploding cans of cooking spray. According to USA Today, the injuries are pretty serious—in addition to burns, one person was blinded in one eye. According to the Chicago Tribune, Conagra removed the can from “active production earlier this year, three years after introducing it.” Conagra has not issued a recall on the old design, and maintains that “when Pam is used correctly, as instructed, it is a 100% safe and effective product.”
