Assuming you had your carpet cleaned. Can you tell me how you accomplished that in order to not diminish color or mess up the nap?

Sammy ...since the car only has 7,257 original miles and was only in snowy weather a couple of times...the carpet was in near perfect condition and was taken out many years ago and stored in the attic. Frank had very little cleaning to do ...but he steamed it slightly. That way it holds it color and shape

Good deal Doug. Yes, steam is a good recommendation. My Chevelle has red original carpet as well and is in nice condition, but I would like to take it up a notch by addressing some spots/stains here and there.

Lol..Ok... so take a good look at the pinch weld molding area...see the blue vinyl exposed...this is because the passenger rear door panel was originally deluxe blue material and was covered over with red deluxe material. Oops
