No kidding ! What IS that color ?? Reading bat ads has become nauseating with all their "said to be", "said to have" and the worst for me, "paired with". When did engines and transmissions get picked to go together like wine with a meal ??? |
"Hey man, dig my herbs"....:rolleyes2:

If I bought that car I'd bring it home at night in a covered trailer, unload it in the dark into the garage, shut the door and nail it shut.....!!! Not the car you'd be calling your buddies to come over and see....."Hey Jim, come see my Wangers COPO GTO found in a garage in Michigan for $200K !@!@" Guys would be leaving work to knock down your door..... LOL.... Some mothers do .... |

According to Hagerty, a loaded 73 Corvette in #1 condition is worth about $40,000. The fact that one got painted Black doesn't mean it's worth 12.5X more. You can ask what ever you want. Ask $1 million. $10 million . . . $100 million. The car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and I just don't see anyone stepping up to that $500K price just because of it's unique color. That IMO, just isn't enough.

Yes - I knew the ride height was too high. That seems to be a common problem with many restored cars. This one is by no means the worst I have seen. Not by a long shot. |
