#225 This Hugger Orange 69 COPO Camaro is N643253 and was sold new at Ray Bryant Chevrolet in Dayton OH. This car still has its original drivetrain and was certified by CHP. It was ordered with an M22 and a console and was parked in '81 with only 24K miles. Verlin Hale purchased it from the 3rd owner several years ago and restored it. It was part of the Class of 1969 Display.

#226 This Olympic Gold 69 Yenko Camaro is N579034 and was sold new at Nankivell Chevrolet in Indianapolis IN to Rick Barratt. This is 1 of 10 built in Olympic Gold and I believe 1 of 6 known to exist. This is an ex-race car with 21K miles. I'm not sure who restored this car, but it was recently completed. Doug Perry had it being judged for Camaro Legends Certification.

Frank Arone did the restoration for Doug's '69 Yenko.

#227 This Tuxedo Black 69 Chevelle COPO is 136379Z364805 and was sold new at Jack Head Chevrolet in Alhambra CA. It's my understanding that this car has a CE block and its original M40 and 4.10 rearend. This car is also documented with its original POP. This car was the January '02 feature car on this site when it was owned by Bob Gagliano. It was restored by Dave Tinnel over 25 years ago. This is the only COPO Chevelle that I know of that was built at the Fremont CA plant. It is also 1 of 4 known that was painted Tuxedo Black. According to the trim tag it originally had a black vinyl top. This car was part of The Dennis Payne Collection and hammered for $117.5K.

#228 This Hugger Orange 69 Camaro COPO is 124379N641030 and was sold new at Frost Chevrolet in Mechanicsville OH. I first became aware of this car back in '03 when the owner of the original engine for this car came on here looking for the car. Then in '05 this car came up for sale on e-bay with the owner claiming it had its original engine in it already. The owner of the engine and the owner of the car weren't able to come to terms, and I believe that Chris Cadwallader bought the car at that time and had it restored. It was restored and sold in '06 and at that time I don't believe it had any of its original drivetrain. This is a 4-speed car and only has 16K miles on it. It was part of the Dennis Payne Collection and hammered for $127.5K at Mecum Indy. I believe it still has the restamped engine in it, but there was another engine included in the sale. I'm not sure if that was the original engine or not.

#229 This Tuxedo Black 69 Camaro COPO is 124379N641088 and was sold new at Scuncio Chevrolet in Greenville RI. It was the feature car of the month on this site in 01/05. At that time it was a Day 2 car. It was owned by Ray Dupont, Kevin Hand, Mike Guarise and Dave Steinberg before becoming a part of the Dennis Payne collection. This is a 4-speed car and I don't believe it has any of its original drivetrain. This car hammered for $135K at Mecum Indy.

#230 This Frost Green 69 Camaro COPO is 124379N639311 and was sold new at Glockner Chevrolet in Portsmouth OH. Don Robertson owned this car for many years and when he passed the car went to IL. The consignor than purchased it about 8 months prior to the auction and restored it. It was just completed before the auction. It was advertised as having its original POP that was pictured on the sign board. It was also advertised as being numbers matching. It didn't say the drivetrain was original to the car so I'm assuming it was correct but not original to the car. This car hammered for $152.5K.

I've posted pictures of this Hugger Orange 69 Yenko Camaro previously on here. This is 124379N579562 and was sold new at Francis Chevrolet in Bridgeton MO. This is an unrestored car with just under 20K miles. I have in my notes that it has its original engine, rearend and 80% of its original paint. Don Stowers owned this car for over 25 years. It was featured in the 06/89 issue of Super Chevy and 06/92 issue of Muscle Car Review when Don owned it. He also had it at MCACN in '10. It hammered at Mecum Indy in '11 for $345K. It was part of the Dennis Payne Collection and hammered at Mecum Indy this year for $650K.

I've posted pictures of Jim Park's 69 Yenko Camaro before. It is currently in the Muscle Car Wing at the Gilmore Museum. This is 124379N579779 and was sold new at Hult Chevrolet in Madison WI to Lloyd Eggert. This car has just over 3K miles and has been repainted, but the rest of the car is mostly original. This car was at the Chevy Vette Fest in Chicago back in '03 when they had a large Yenko and Supercar display. It was also at MCACN in '12 for the Yenko display.
