Obviously two tone with a white top.

Does anyone know for certain what color the bottom was? Guessing one of the lighter colors.

Pic attachment didn't work very well.

Lynn:

It would probably look something like this, though this is Canyon Coral. Salmon Pink has more of an orange hue to it:

Looking at the 57 Color Chart, I don't see a listing for salmon pink.

Special Order paint?

It was a 1955 color. The car was probably repainted prior to PHR getting it. 8 year old car with 70,000 miles on it. The original article really doesn't go into the history of the car when they bought it. More on the drive train: 283 4 BBL with a 4 speed.

On second thought, the 2 pics aren't the same and everything I've found indicates these planes had a full length fuselage. This pic must be a chop job, as I find no other pic of a Mitchell with fuselages trailing the engines.

No such plane ever existed. This is a CAF B25 photoshopped.

Makes me sick. I realize it could easily be swapped back but holy hell, if there was ever a time where "it's the principle of it" applies, Project X(crement, now, and I can't take credit for this) is it.

Is this correct?

Also what years could you get the wheels painted body color?

Thank you for the education.
