I'm not sure if he knew or not as he still tried to run me down, but I just barely edged him out! We were pitted next to each other and after the race I jokingly went over and gave him a Red Alert hat. As I was walking back to my pit I turned around and saw him throw it in a close by garbage can. Initially I thought it was Burnished Brown shot under fluorescent lights which changes the hue. But I went back to the ad and the color is stated as "Copper" so you are definitely correct. No TAG is present in the photos.

Wasn't that where it was located in the LT5, used in 90s ZR1 Corvettes?

flyingn 10-28-2021 11:30 PM

Lee Stewart 10-28-2021 11:44 PM

Toyota and Lexus have also placed starter motors under the intake manifold.

Lynn 10-29-2021 03:42 AM

And then GM hired him back apparently.... because that's where it is in the new flat plane crank V8.

Wow!

I think it was Wally Parks that said "if we had to drag race Russia to decide the fate of the free world I would want Ronnie Sox to drive for the US".

or something to that effect.
