Recently put out a pair of videos on a gentleman who has a really cool collection of cars that have been sitting, some for decades. And the 69 Daytona is finally out of the Mobile Home it has been sitting in.
I can not seem to embed the YouTube videos, here's the links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev4BCKVAYYo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFsXrgjf1TI https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4541/3...1dabd9b0_b.jpg |

I bought this 1970 GTO yesterday. It still has studded snow tires on rear. It has been sitting since the 80's when engine blew. Engine and trans are missing. Front Endura bumper is super nice, and I know good ones are hard to find. Palisade Green, dark green interior, PS, Power Disk Brakes, auto on floor, buckets, non-AC

I bought this 1969 Malibu last fall. Put about $2000 into it to get it back on the road. Was parked since the early 90's. Installed new shocks, front sway bar bushings, gas tank, turn signal cancel cam, MSD distributor, fuel pump, carb rebuild, mags and tires, windshield, taillight lenses, rad hoses, and a few misc items. Fathom Green, light green interior, 350, glide, 12 bolt open rear.

1 Attachment(s)
Just picked this up, A friend found this in a garage in west Philly (Will Smith, the fresh prince's neighborhood) about 4 months ago. Parked in 1989, looks like the garage door (or the garage) fell on it. The good, One owner numbers matching 428CJ loaded car ( Auto, AC, AM-FM, folddown, rear spoiler, tach,.....) with 80K miles.

A shame someone hacked up that hood scoop on that '68; wonder if that's an SS?

The owner of this Challenger blew the motor in '93 -" it's not for sale - gonna get to it - if I was to sell it, I know it's worth 25k the way it sits!"

I picked this up a couple of years ago - It was raced out of Kentucky in the 80's then went to upstate NY then was purchased and brought to PA - new owner wanted to put a wedge in it but never got around to it & it sat in a barn for over 25 years! Had a 4 point cage, narrowed dana with 4.56's & 440 with a torque flite

[QUOTE=72heavychevy;1321111]Found this '68 Charger next to abandoned shop this summer! I still wonder what was inside those garages...
http://i.imgur.com/bWuL2P8.jpg I was looking at these pictures with a friend and when we got to this one he said "Hey! I bought the rear end and manual steering box out of that car!" I was like, yeah, right. And then he showed it to me on google maps. This is Grider's Auto Salvage in Owensboro KY. If you look it up on Google Maps you can see the car sitting there. |
