Do you know if there were any Fathom Green with white stripes from around the Pittsburgh area back then? Just curious, thanks and Merry Christmas!

From the information I have there were three other Fathom Green Camaros sold out of Yenko in '69, but only one of those is a known car. It was owned by Vickie Koss in the late 80's and was restored. There was also one sold in Youngstown OH that is a known car. It was restored by Randy Miller in the mid 90's. I don't know if either of those cars was in the Pittsburg area in the mid 80's or not.

This Tuxedo Black 69 COPO Camaro is N690437 and is an M22 car with 4.56 gears that was sold new at Maxton Chevrolet in Columbus OH to Joseph Patrick. I posted pictures of this car on here a number of years ago when it was at MCACN in '10 when Doug Perry owned it. This car does not have its original engine or transmission. It sold at Mecum Indy in The Bid Goes On for $305K.

#219 This LeMans Blue 69 Yenko Camaro was sold new at Francis Chevrolet in Brighton MO. This car has been for sale several times on the Legendary Motorcar website. It's also on their site under Restorations so I assume they restored it as well. As you can see from the trim tag it is an X44 car with the X11 trim added. It also has a black tail panel which is only correct for the first 50 X66 cars. It doesn't have its original engine but someone posted on here several years ago that they had it or knew where it was. This car hammered for $265K at Mecum Indy.

Would headers been correct on a Yenko Camaro? Were they an option or day 2 add-on?

Headers, scatter shields, traction bars and Atlas mags among other things were optional on 69 Yenko Camaros as dealer add-ons. From what I've heard Yenko's mechanics would do whatever modifications the customer wanted. I know some cars had the modifications done before they left the lot and others were brought back in for Day 2 mods.

#220 This Fathom Green 69 ZL-1 Camaro is N612913 and is #36 of 69 built. It was sold new at Fred Gibb Chevrolet in La Harpe IL. It does not have its original engine. I'm not sure about the rest of the drivetrain. Chuck Huber restored this car for Joe Zrostlik back in '06. It was featured in the May '07 issue of Muscle Car Review. This car was at the Gilmore Museum for a year or so before ending up in the Shed Collection. It hammered for $700K at Mecum Indy. I'm not sure who purchased it.

Found this with some other pics of the SD, and the hand written letter of the car and engine info, don't know who ended up with the car, a good deal at 25K back then

It was restored by Frank Payne and was at the Chevy Vette Fest in '03. It is now owned by Jim Stubbings from Heartbeat City. It is currently on display at the Gilmore Museum. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture of it.

I recognized that backdrop right away -

#221 This Daytona Yellow 69 Camaro COPO is N620719 and was sold new at Bryne Brothers Chevrolet in White Plains NY. This is a double COPO car and only had 3.9K miles when F. Arone purchased it. It was an ex drag car and was missing its original drivetrain so in the process of restoring it with his son Caleb they decided to Day 2 it. It does have an MN block that is topped with a tunnel ram and backed by an M22. This car was featured in the December '17 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. R. Snyder currently owns this car and brought it to MCACN in '23.

Love this car it’s spectacular BUT I’d prefer it with cragars or rockets, raidir polished , something w some flash Vs dark but knowing it’s owner is young they tend to like the dark color wheels so I get it.
