Do you mind sharing the back story on those cars? They don't appear to be "hidden". Are they for sale? There is a lot of cool iron there.

They are a hoard of cars owned by one guy and they are all behind a 6 foot concrete wall with razor wire on top, not many have access. Most have been sitting for more than 30 years. Most are in pretty poor shape. Not sure if anything is for sale.

A lot of those cars look too good to be in a junk yard. What a shame, if only they can talk...

It looks like a desert.

I'd love to buy a few of them to play with.

Another one from the same place - all three of these cars are round ports, middle one is a Judge.

daverd 01-09-2018 12:51 AM

Go get em outa there...tired of these morons
Letting rare cars like these go to junk
Time for some midnight Auto adventures...

Astock 01-09-2018 02:31 PM

Pretty cool he bought those cars when they were not worth much. I know when I was selling my '70 silver judge from Knafel, that was up for debate years back, he stepped right up. Good for him.

The Boss 01-09-2018 07:51 PM

Someone who knows where those cars are! :D

I can assure you the owner is no moron. I bought one of those last three, and have since sold it.

earntaz 01-09-2018 09:40 PM

Depending how ya' look at it -- just like money in the bank to some !!! TAZ

Here is one that I found. It was in a field by a shed. The weeds around it were so high you couldn't see the car. I'm not sure yet what it is, but I think it might be a L79. It looks like it had been raced due to the large crack in the frame behind the right front lower A arm. It had bucket seats and a console, clutch pedal still in it. Someone stole the seats and most of the other parts out of it. It's probably going to be my race car.

Found this oddity on craigslist, looks like it's been rotting away for a long time. If I had the extra cash and space this would be a fun project.

scuncio 03-04-2018 03:54 AM

Wow, no words for that one. I think you might have ended up better off passing it up...can you even imagine how much body filler must have gone into that job.

Fast67VelleN2O 03-06-2018 08:35 PM

Honestly, the wide body T/A would be a fun SCCA style car to beat around tracks days

This poor 1966 4 sp GTO is sitting outside a body shop near me. I don't know where this old street warrior has been sitting, but there isn't a single panel on this car that isn't damaged or rusted. On another thread there's a comment about a Chevelle having the worst package tray rust ever-I submit this Goat as a challenger.

1970 Boss 302 that I picked up today. Has been sitting for many years in a trailer park north of Philadelphia.

earntaz 03-07-2018 12:15 PM

I'd be hiding that ... cool!!

Mr70 03-07-2018 02:32 PM

Does anyone have pics of that bird when it was at shows? Someone mentioned it was a show car and saw pics when it was in better condition

PeteB 05-16-2018 05:21 PM

I know where there is a COPO 9561. been sitting in a garage for 40 years now. Ive talked to guy but haven't seen it yet. He doesn't want to sell it either. What a waste. One day soon I hope to at least see it.

R68GTO 05-16-2018 10:59 PM

Sitting IN a garage is a big plus.

PeteB 05-16-2018 11:53 PM

I most certainly will get pics of it and post them when I see it.

Mu uncle has a 1969 Camaro Indy Pace car L-48 convertible. He’s had it for over 40 years and it just sits. It needs a resto but is drivable. I’ve driven it many many years ago. He has all GM sheet metal for it also. Paid $800 for it. PoP is there too. Engine has never been touched. I’ll try and get some pics of it. I hope to get it one of these years
