Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
We had the opportunity to visit with "Pete Leathersac " and his lovely family, we were welcomed and treated like old friends, I was hoping to take them out for Dinner as a thank you but somehow ended up drinking beer and having a wonderful visit "Chez Leathersac ".
What a great outcome of buying a car to make new friends!!!! Thanks again for the hospitality and another Thank You for putting me onto my W-31:-) Ryan |

Sam's collection looks awesome! And, yes, the 106 is the build total for your/ my W-31 body style. I haven't seen a break down for automatic versus stick, but the estimate is 40% stick in the 442 model; might be close for the '31 also. The '68 SSll is a rare wheel and I'm glad I'm not trying to find a set......very tough to find.

Finally got to meet "NOrthernforce" Dave and I have been missing each other at Chevelle shows for a few years:-(
Had a great visit and showed off my W-31, we could have chatted for days:-) Dave dropped off a few goodies for Rick Pauley to drop off at NOCC. How nice is this, Dave gave me a NOS posi tag, and a nice Chevy hat:-) Ryan https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...9382-image.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...9383-image.jpg |

Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
I am figuring out the cooling system this week:-)
KA water pump pulley:-) I haven't been able to see the code KB on the crank pulley yet? 400269 water pump, is also yet to be determined. I also wonder if the car should have a fan shroud? What I looked up so far says W-31 had no shroud.....Al (original owner doesn't remember one) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...410-shroud.jpg Ryan |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
