The ventilation system sucks the overspray through the grates he is standing on.

Many of the booths had waterfalls on the side walls. The overspray is collected as a sludge, dried and, and disposed of presumably in a manner befitting an industrial hazardous waste.

That doesn't look like it had a happy ending. Any clue where this took place ? There was a Grossman Chev in MN for many years. Could this have been at Donnybrook ?
