Another Chevy PR photo. Look at the engine callout numbers on the front fender |

This one made the front cover of the 1968 Camaro Brochure. Look at the badging on the front fender. https://i.postimg.cc/fb7JcCNg/1-1.jpg |

Missing the engine callout emblem below the belt line on the front fender and the "CAMARO" emblem above the belt line |

It wasn't just Chevrolet/GM. Ford Boss 302 PR Photo. Neither the Magstar wheels, those Goodyear tires or that color combo were available on the 1969 Boss 302. |

Again Ford using Magstar wheels which were never an option on the 1971 Boss 351. Only Chrome Magnum 500. |

Wrong tail lights. That design was not authorized until 1967. 66 mustang had the same tail lights as the 65: one piece unit. |

All 1966 Shelby G.T.350H Mustangs came standard with RWL tires and chrome Magnum 500 wheels - no wheel option. |

1970 Boss 302 with 1969 wheels and one funky color combo never available from the factory. Ford knew that not all their PR photos would be shown in color so they outfitted many of their cars with colors that would look good in B & W. |

Missing "Cobra Jet" script emblem on the shaker and those are GT wheel caps. Should be plain. |

Neither the Paxton Supercharger nor the 427 engine were options on the 1968 Shelby GT Mustangs |

https://i.postimg.cc/85KWv4dg/00a.jpg Dual exhaust (and chrome exhaust tips) were never available on the 1969 Dart GT. Both the optional 273 and 318 V8s were 2 BBL single exhaust options. What they did was take a stripe delete GTS and switched out the emblem on the trunk: https://i.postimg.cc/fWPmTHTx/00.jpg |
Find the promo for the '67 Camaro SS with the 327 emblems on the fenders. It's possible GM hadn't planned to introduce the new 350 when those pics were taken, but that one promo pic has led MANY people to believe a 327 was available as an SS since then...:rolleyes2:

Initially the Upper/Lower pinstripes came standard on the 1967 Coronet R/T. The Lower were cancelled shortly after production started due to the slow down they created. |

The Hemi engine was NOT available in the base or Special Edition Charger yet Dodge built this one for PR. It's restoration was shown on a popular car oriented TV show whose name escapes me. One of you guys probably remembers it. |

I always liked this ad. The ad company working for Dodge saw the future - just not for it's client. |

Are you referring to this photo? It's a 1968. You can clearly see it's not an SS: no hood treatment. But the verbage below the photo says it is. |

If I remember, it was a Red '67 badged as an SS but with 327 emblems on the fender. Been quite a few years since I ran across it. |
