Put a set of those on my brand new Chevy Lumina. That was the car that replaced my Olds Cutlass which I totalled when I hit a deer going 70 MPH.

LOL - I'm pretty sure you have to face them forward for them to be effective. Except of course if you want to scare a deer making a left hand turn.

We used to sell springs like that years ago for just that purpose, to hold the wiper against the windshield when the original spring broke, or just got weak.

I could totally see myself doing that.

Why not just remove the years prior sticker instead?

I know that you have a heck of a time getting one sticker off of the plate with out making a mess of the paint but after a couple you can get a razor blade under them,leaving one on the plate
