I am interested in the dirty pictures........... Let me rephrase that. If possible post a few shots in process, especially as you paint items, firewall, floor, brackets, bits, bites:-)
Even the cleaning process. Many thanks for these instructions!!! Ryan |

As a matter of fact Dan.....yes, Jeff did say Spotted Cow. Let's not forget another favorite of mine, Two Women! BTW.....this is still one of the best build threads. Kurt https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...ow_resized.jpg |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
What? Two Women? Have you been holding out on me? I DEFINETELY will try Two Women on my next visit to WI.

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Craig, I can't say as if I've ever had an Indigenous beer.
Tom, I don't drink a lot of Leinie's although I do like their "Big Butt".....when in season. Yes....Big Butt.....it's a Dopplebock beer and really good. New Glarus' Spotted Cow is a big seller in Wisonsin and is only suppose to be sold in WI. There was a tavern in Minnesota buying kegs of it and selling it at their bar......they got in to a whole lot of trouble for that! All I know is that when I have friends come here from out of state.....I treat them to good beer like Spotted Cow, Sun Drop soda and cheese curds from Decatur Dairy cause they have great threads like these that help me learn and appreciate the builds. Now....back to your regularly scheduled program. Kurt |

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
I'm originally from just outside Green Bay and have drank Leinenkugal ... it is even available down here in south Texas. Back in the day we drank alot of Pabst -- but it seems the formula was changed and the taste went to hell. I even have a few bottles of "Two Dogs" beer -- not too bad but you will not want to ruin good brats with it ... LOL
Those cheese curds are the best when they squeak while chewing ... |
Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Oh they squeak alright

Is that a Hurst Competion Plus for console with the offset piece?
I am learning about shifters slowly, but surely. Probably my favorite part so far!!! Ryan |

Re: 1969 SS396 325hp Chevelle
Now that the chassis is 95% complete.....started cleaning up the undercarriage.
The undercarriage is in nice condition.....a few small pinholes here and there.....will weld the repairs, reseal with seam sealer, prime, paint and undercoat the rear wheel wells and rear quarter bottom. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pscxr6h7mk.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psq9h4nk5m.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps9g397s2s.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psevwfdbv8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pss7h0yqxc.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psuzzxzsmm.jpg Dan |
