The Deluxe Steering Wheel on the 68 Camaros (at least the May built 68 SS 396 that I had) did not have the 396 along with the SS on the horn button. I believe that was reserved for the Chevelles and big cars.

Not all '68 SS396 Chevelles received the SS396 horn emblem either...many came with just the plain SS with no engine ID as seen here.

We currently have the YS-8002 Proto-type Camaro in for restoration. This car was not a COPO and has a 120 speedo. The door tag is screwed onto the body and did not use a rivit. Cograts on you find https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif..BKH

BKH, is that the car with the experimental f-glass lid?

Dana, I have something somewhere that says your car had an option called 'HUBS'. I'll try to dig it out. I'm assuming it was the Pontiac wheels, inferring that they may have initially been an option vs. standard. Congrats on the find, can't wait to see it at an SCR - regardless of condition https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
