Hobby is different for people...some like to do them...some like them done...by the time you do them you wind up with a crapload of money in them anyway. Better off buying a good car done. Some of those Caddy converts were awsum and they were being stolen..

I looked at the low mile Z28 and believe it to be correct. There were a few little things like a heat shield under the carb but that was a very cool car. I know both bidders. The bidder that lost bought the gold L78 Camaro convert last year and the green low mile 68 L78 Camarto the year before. There are only a few untouched cars out there and they will bring a premium. The guy that bought the Z28 also bought the blue ZL1 at the Mecum auction for 800K. He knows exactly what he is doing.

All the sparkles you see from the cars on TV can be done with a special piece that goes on over your camera lens. It is like a fine wire screen. They are using all the tricks that they can think of.....like the guy waving the checkered flag all the time. I'm impressed. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

The 11K mile 69 Z went for an eye popping $205K plus fees.

Re: Any thoughts on the B-J auction...?

Can anyone here explain this $205,000 + price to me?
Last years $113,000 for the yellow Z was out of this world.
What can you even say about $205,000 ! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Does anyone else think that the light bulb is burning its
brightest now because it will burn out soon?
