There was a supposed black -red car out here in primer at a resto shop for years that just sold several times recently. Anybody here of one coming out of Ca. in the last 6 months ?

I believe that is the car - I forgot that the previous owner had started on the body. I bought a Z16 block from him. The car went to Kansas City for just a few months, then sold again and now in Tenn or SC, I think.

A friend of mine owned that car for years. It sat not 20 miles from me. JQuinn has his old COPO.

IVE GOT A PIC OF ONE IVE HAD SINCE THE EARLY 80'S THATS BLACK WITH CORVETTE KNOCKOFFS ON IT. SAME CAR?

Don that sounds like the one in the Super Sport book by Terry Boyce...was it lowered a bit ?

Yes. Ron is a friend of mine. The one with the Corvette knockoffs is still out here and owned by another guy I know named Chris D. He does restos and has owned a couple of the Z16's. The other one he had he sold years ago to someone in Cape Cod.

First saw this photo in the SS book in 1981 and flipped. What a cool car. Does it still look like this?

Charlie, Was the car that went to Cape Cod ( Trpl. Blk. with a ton of paperwork ) I beleive it sold some where in the early 80's. I have not yet taken the trip to see it.
