Charley, First of all Thanks for the Pictures--I watched it last night on Speed Vision. I didn't get to go this year as we are too busy with roofing and Yes it is Freezing Cold out!! Yes that is Garys old car but didn' t want to try and figure out how to spell his name last night. Yes the RS is the one that used to be Scott B's and was in Florida. Maybe it has just been shopped too much or maybe it is just priced too high.

Looks like a restamped tag. Too perfect, no dents. Should be crisp heavy imprints. In addition, frequently there are inspection stamps and inspector numbers punched into the tag as in this example of an original one:
