Re: COPO On E-Bay

Typical of eBay & private auctions.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at the economy and know what is really going on. How many people are really buying very many things besides gasoline & food right now ? How much real estate is being sold right now ? The auto manufactures are coming up with lifetime warranties and 0 %, no payments till you have mo money, and are still having slow sales.

Yea, I believe that auction.

My guess is that a Good Samaritan is protecting any potential Victims by making sure nobody else is High Bidder. We owe somebody a Beer.

The last COPO or Yenko Chevelle I have in my registry is 07D in the 412000 series.
The last COPO Camaro I have is in the 693000 series, which is close to the end of production. I believe the last Yenko Camaro is 09A. I show just a handful of late built COPO Camaros.

I hope you're right...and if such person ever steps forward, I'd be more than happy to "lend" them a couple of cold ones. And, if they do happen to win the auction, but don't end up taking the car, then wouldn't they get to leave some "feedback" stating whatever they wanted to say, for all the world to see? Interesting...

Now I know that the bidding is a joke 25 bids NOW at 325.100.00 what gives

Ok here's a point no one has brought up. Bidding closed at $325,100. Even if the bidding was a joke, Ebay will still try to take their cut of that high closing bid. It would be funny to see what actually happened with this auction and how it's being handled. I'm sure when this car does change hands it won't be for that high of a dollar figure and it'll happen behind the scenes. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of this brown *copo*. I think Ebay now just has a flat Fee of less than 100.00 to sell a Car.
