A shame it’s not going back to stock however if there was a company to do it justice as a modified car, the Roadster Shop are the right guys for the job.

On the search front, I’ve just purchased a really cool very original survivor 69 RS. I’ll create a new thread when it arrives from its journey around the globe. Surprisingly, I’ve lucked out even more because the car is optioned almost exactly how I would’ve ordered one. Only plans are to detail it, do whatever is needed to get it roadworthy and registered and cruise the wheels off it.

Glad you found yours. Now maybe some luck will come my way. Congratulations can’t wait to see your new find!

Thanks all. I never thought the search for a base coupe would span two and a half years but here we are. Looking forward to sharing the new ride once it’s landed here in Australia.

I have no connection to the seller just passing a link along.

This is a nice one that I missed out on purchasing early in my search a few years back for 30K. Hopefully it sells to the right person and it continues to be appreciated for what it is. Still can't believe the asking prices for some cars these days though.

Side note, my 69 RS survivor (Lemans Blue exterior/Black interior, 307/TH350) is due to hit Australian shores mid-late December. It's already been an interesting journey uncovering some of the cars history and is still ongoing. I hope to share more once it arrives.
