I don't worry about it, I'm not selling anything.

My whole point. This was this morning.

Ha, I was just going to post when I saw this.

They were just saying on the news this morning the regular flu has killed more people this year (as it does every year) than the Corona virus, yet we never hear about the regular flu in the news.

Kind of interesting how all this has blown out of proportion.

Guys, do you think China and now Italy would go on lockdown for a flu bug? Do you think there would be mass school closings, trade shows, conferences, trips cancelled globally? I am 55 and have never heard of these types of measures taken. I hope this runs its course when it warms up.

As for the car market, they will take a hit just like everything else but over time the best examples will make new highs. My 2 cents :)

Ease of spread and long live loiter time on surfaces is what makes it very different and difficult to control.

Otherwise it is the latest big Hoax for the media to exploit.

I certainly don’t pretend to understand the severity of this situation. I do see the world’s financial markets on a rollercoaster ride. Not just the US. It’s happening across the globe. Don’t have an answer other than to take my Camaro for a ride after work. Nothing Fake about that. Rob

The only reason H1N1 pandemic and its 545,000 deaths was downplayed in 2009 was there was no wish on the medias part to blame or tarnish the then current president. Italy Im sure doesnt know something secret about the virus that nobody else does, they are just trying to prepare for the worst.

If they renamed the flu the “millervirus” and hyped it from day one and created mass hysteria through every media channel, yes the world would be on lockdown. The reality is we have become accustomed to living with the flu. There is not one vaccine that will prevent these types of viruses and again the people who are and will always be the most vulnerable ie people with underlying health issues will unfortunately be impacted the most. My 89 year old mom takes extra logical precautions each year. Most years she has been fine in past years she caught “ something”.
We all need to relax, get educated, talk to people around you, take precautions as needed but live life!!

I have not heard any news about the summer Olympics in Japan. I wonder if there will be spectators allowed? Maybe the spread will have died down by then.
