I found it interesting that the buyers premium was 23%! |
I placed a few bids on some of Stevens stuff, but lost.
While registering to bid,I found out if I won anything sitting at home and bidding through the keyboard,I'd have to pay a 20% buyers fee..(18% if I go and bid in person) plus a 7% Indiana tax, that EVERYONE has to pay regardless where you live, and a 3% credit card fee if I paid with such,=30% of the amount bid right there. Plus they have to ship the item to me at their discretion,so there's another significant amount right there too. I am honestly glad I didn't win anything, but I just had to bid on the stuff I wanted to own. |

Is he a big memorabilia collector or why did he suggest Steven buy the stuff? I thought the Schwinn Krate bicycles were really cool, not sure how Steven found all this perfect NOS stuff! |

Heard it said that he only collected original stuff, not reproductions or fakes.

Ed is the Boss 429 oracle
69-70 Shelby oracle 69-70 CJ and especially SCJ Mustangs The rest of Shelby's he knows simply because he's immersed in the blue oval Ford world Also a Mopar fan Steven was on a flight and Ed walked by to sit at the back of the bus, he was wearing a Ford shirt. He went back to talk to Ed and spent the rest of the flight in coach. They couldn't have been more different. The love of our silly old cars took over and these two nuts had one of the most incredible relationships in car world Steven's daughter called him Special Ed and that is the name he is fondly known by in Ford world to this day I know the pair wore out multiple vehicles doing what American pickers did before anyone knew what that was One of the good guys |
