Bill Asked me to post these for him for those who are getting anxious. I've attached his comments with the details. She's a beaut!

----I did want a 69, Verne, but this 67 (I had a 67 SS new) really talked to me. It has more options on the original build sheet than any 67 El Camino I have ever seen. Factory AC, tilt, PW, buckets w/headrests, console, deluxe belts, 325/396, st +brks, gauges, disc brakes, HD susp, bumper guards, remote control mirror (not on the car at present) Its a Cal. car and lived with the original owner until 2010. I have a stack of bills an inch high. Plus, I bought it from Jacquie Benthin so I was pretty sure what I was getting. Its a relative high miler so there are things to correct, but nothing major at all. I got the vintage American wheels from Jason in Cal. and spent about two days detailing them. The car came with new style chromed Americans and huge tires and just didn't look right. Id still by the right 69 as that's what the wife likes, but so far I'm having fun with this 67.......Bill S

Wow. Nice score. Went earlier than 69 I see. I personally like the 66-67 body style even better, even though I have a 68.

----Some stuff being updated already and other stuff coming up. Gardner exhaust ordered and on the way as I cant stand the pea-shooters out the back. Don't want to take any underhood shots yet. Too much stuff replaced over the years with the mileage figure. Not worked up about repro this time. Just trying to get stuff reasonably correct and drive the poo out of it......Bill S
