Kind of odd how the cruise came about. When Gateway told me/Rob about it, we both said thanks, but we seriously doubt any of our group will want to do that. Then Saturday afternoon, as the show cars went by us headed onto the oval, we noticed several from our group headed that way, so I told Rob to get Drew and join them with the '69 Nova.

The pace laps did look like fun but I barely had enough fuel to load my pig back in the trailer.

The time slip and Howie's car go together, but I have feeling the next time the car goes down the track it will be much quicker.

Dan &amp; others, Thanks for posting all these great pictures &amp; stories for those of who couldn't make it. I was there in 2011-12 and won't miss another for just a 4 hr drive. Looks like a great day at the track. Watching You &amp; Donnie I am really starting to like the 69 Chevelle's. George
