A friend of mine owns this 383-powered car. Show placard hanging from the hood and white stripe around aft end.

Re: 1970 Black Challengers
Just beautiful! Is it a 340 car? Can't quite make it out.

Sam,
Yes, it's a 340 car. The A66 Package included the 340 4-BBL (This was the only way you could get it and the first level performance package), the Power Bulge Hood, Hood Pins, 15 inch Wheels, Front and Rear Sway Bars, Chrome Dual Mirrors and the Tail Stripe. |
Re: 1970 Black Challengers
very nice package. thanks Ed!

Meanwhile, over at Plymouth, the 340 in the Barracuda was only available as part of the 'Cuda model. Then, for 1971, the 340 was available on both the base Challenger and the R/T. |
Re: 1970 Black Challengers
Diego,
Another thing my car has is factory rolled fender lips like the Hemi cars. It appears that Dodge was setting these cars up for high performance wheel and tire combinations. Did the 'Cuda get these as well? Thanks for your help, Ed |
