Re: Mayhems 71 Nova

Hey M,
You ran a 275/60 in your early posts , what tyre/rim/backspace are you running with the Mickeys? Im looking to run a pair of M/T's on some 7 or 8" steel rims/doggies.
Have you narrowed the axle or modified the shock/wheel tub/lip? I have a 10 bolt , stock panels and want it lowered in the rear if I can.
Like the tyre height with the 275/60

cheers Dave

Re: Mayhems 71 Nova

No changes. Same size.
Rear is a Mickey 28x10x15 model 6640 Sportsman SR.
Front is a 26x6x15 6652 I believe.
The only mod to the rear was previous owner slightly cut the inner rear fender well maybe 1/4 ".
There is less than 1/2" of space between wheel wells inner and outer.
10 bolt GM with .373s, Comp Eng drag shocks on all fours.

Re: Mayhems 71 Nova

Yes, I believe that is it. I know they are 8" rims, and the BS appears to be 5".
I was going to order new old school Centerlines, but they only make up to 4 3/4" BS.
So I figured I would just leave it alone and run the Welds.

Took 1st place in my class (Big Street) at the local drags this weekend.
Surprisingly from a track car. He must have had trouble.
