Long day, but a lot of fun. The carb had issues so we just made runs for seat time. At the end of the first run was this wonderful site, 'hooked'!!

My little Danny has a unique way of 'helping' me when I'm at my busiest,

I'll try to post a few more pics when I can.... What an awesome time, love seeing the smile on Benjamin's face! The first words out of his mouth after the first run was "can I go again?" Exactly what every Dad wants to hear,

After tech, I took Benjamin to the track. We walked the entire length, I showed him each section, each increment, each light, the turns, the ticket booth, and the shutdown/waiting area. He did an excellent job, drove it straight down Broadway on every run, turned properly, and executed each instruction to the 'T'.

After the first run, little sister Amanda and little bro Danny were waiting with their congrats!

Off to staging lanes for the next run, he now pushes the car himself - and after a freak rain shower came through he got out there and wiped it down and buffed it up!

Dang Marlin, that is SO COOL!!! Thanks a bunch for sharing the day with all of us. I'm not ashamed to admit it brought a big smile to my face, ..... and a little bit of a lump in my throat.

Great Times Ahead for you and the family. Congratulations!

Isn't it funny how quickly you forget how hard you work at your day job, how much money you spent on the car/gear/expenses, and how many hours spent preparing - just for that sight of an ear-to-ear grin.....
