Re: PRETTY IN PINK
Thanks for the nice comments.
We (Bruce, Rex, Mark-Dreemz, Don Spiro, Shaun) all met at the Casa Grande air strip in October for the photo shoot and had a blast. Rex is a real colorful character with a great memory. Funny thing tho, he did confirm that the girls swarmed him like nobody's business, but he never called it Panther Pink as Chrysler did, he had another name for what kind of pink that color was https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif!! Anyway Bruce is a talented, humble artisan who accomplished an outstanding job on the restoration. The car will make you stagger when you see it. We can all wish him well at the OE judging at the Mopars on the Strip event in March. Well done dude! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif Enjoy your accolades for another 5 minutes and then start detailing that puppy for the judges! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |

Sam a great big thanks to you for the well written article https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif, Don Spiro for the wonderful photography, Rex for his ownership stories, Mark M. for his support and generosity and my wife Melinda for allowing me to pursue my muscle car madness for the past 33 years of our marriage, and Shaun Price for his genersity in getting my car to and from the Shoot https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif to all. What a blast, thanks again.

I hope this car's coming back to Alaska someday, I'd love to see it someday.

Re: PRETTY IN PINK
Welcome aboard Shaun https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif. Shaun is the fellow with the survivor '68 Impalla SS427 (red on red) that I posted awhile back. He snagged that puppy from the local (Apache Jcn) Craig's list a few months back. Here is another guy that does outstanding restorations. I recently got a tour of some of his projects and his work is remarkable! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
