This is a long shot, but anyone seen this car (other then 35 years ago)? It may have a part that I want on it!

Is this the old New York street racer car in your picture? Was this an original Harrell car? Paint scheme looks familar. Where is Kim Howie when you need him? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Thanks for all of your leads on the race car in the picture. That is actually the car that the original owner put the engine and rear in that came out of my BB car. He raced it (the race car) against Sox & Martin at Indy in 1970. The race car was sold to a guy in Pittsburg and I found this rear there. Looks right to me (a little rough though). Now I have what I believe to be the rear and trans. The motor was bored way over and may be trashed, but I do have one active lead in W VA. Please PM any leads any of you might have.

Nice find; you are inspiring the rest of us to search out previous owners! BTW that rear should smooth out nicely after spraying it with Z-Chrome and blocking it down a couple of times.

You were able to track down the buyer of the trans? Or did the seller still have it?
