Niles Car Show

The Niles district in the town of Fremont had their first car show of the year and they had great weather, food, bands and about 300 cars of all shapes and sizes.

This display was very cool, a 62 towing a 56.

Chris.

But they did win some races. Greenwood ran one of the cars, the other one was a Canadian car...If my memory is correct

Bill, someone from this site bought the car (Arnie Beswick GTO) from Terrys cousin and that was probably 15 plus years ago. I'm not sure where it went from there. The car was well done and very rare.

I can do that with my GTO.

The old tow bar was still hanging on the wall; I had to find an old logging chain to duplicate the ones we used.

We used to do the class weigh in with the tow bar installed, tow chains in place, tool box and slicks in the trunk, full fuel tank and ME (all 45 lbs or so) standing on the scales.

When we hit the pit area all that stuff would come flying off...

Jumping Spider. Though he looks ferocious, he's about the size of your thumbnail.
